Alistair is a business consultant with a broad range of experience in project management and delivery. Alistair has experience in delivery at local, regional European level with a range of delivery partners. Alistair has expertise and experience delivering a range of business start and enterprise related programmes these include, Enterprise Development Programme, Regional Start Initiative, Exploring Enterprise Programmes, Young Entrepreneurs Business Boot Camp and Tradelinks Programme. Alistair has experience delivering a number of Enterprise Northern Ireland Programmes throughout Northern Ireland with a number of Local Enterprise Agencies. Alistair has delivered and been engaged in a number of Leonardo, Erasmus+ and Grundtvig projects. Alistair is currently one of the Directors of Ballymena North Business & Recreation Centre a Social Enterprise based in the new enlarged Mid and East Antrim Borough Council.

Laura McCourt is LEDCOM’s Information and Engagement Officer.
Laura has experience in project management via the successful delivery of the Learner Access and Engagement Programme across Larne, Carrickfergus, Newtownabbey and Moyle where she helped over 500 people return to education.
Laura has expertise in writing published research papers, marketing, mentoring and public speaking.

Highly experienced team member with 27 years working within the enterprise sector Geraldine is the Event Manager for the operational running of the Willowbank Rural Conference Centre, she also is tenant liaison officer for the Willowbank Business Park, among her other duties she is Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive.

Patricia Brennan has worked in the field of community & economic development for 19 years. She has a particular personal connection to community development and is a founding member of a local community development group. Patricia has managed a number of key contracts and projects and has substantial experience in financial management and evaluation through the administration of a range of public funding. She is a skilled facilitator, mediator and business mentor and currently provides support to new and emerging social enterprises. Her key area of expertise is in community development and capacity building within disadvantaged communities.

June Scullion is LEDCOM’s Projects Support Officer and has 16 years’ experience working across various programmes such as Regional Start Initiative, Steps to Work Self Employment, Exploring Enterprise Programmes, DSD Areas at Risk and Peace Programmes.
June has expertise in ICT and community development.

Lawrence Greer is a business consultant who has experience in project management and project evaluation, with specialist experience in the social economy sector through his delivery of Invest NI SEP and Social Enterprise Hubs programmes. He also has expertise in delivering ICT training to business clients. He is a Member of the Institute of Consulting and a Member of the British Computer Society. He is currently the Project Manager of the Northern Zone Social Economy Hub in Ballymena.

David Gillespie has been General Manager in LEDCOM for 18 years and is responsible primarily for management of workspace, regional start, loan fund, and local economic development work undertaken for MEABC . David is part of a staff team of 12 who deliver enterprise and economic development programmes for businesses, including social enterprises. David is an approved Business Advisor and has been a previous volunteer mentor with Princes Trust, receiving an invitation to Buckingham palace in 2007, along with others, in recognition of his services to the trust.

Audrey Murray MBE
BA (hons) MSc, MIC, FCMI, CMgr
Audrey has over 24 years’ experience in the field of social enterprise, social finance and local economic development in the UK and in NI. Including the Contract Manager of the Social Entrepreneurship Programme across NI, In 2013 she was awarded an MBE in recognition of her work with the social economy sector. She was one of the founding Directors and Chair of the Social Economy Network NI; she has served as a board member of Social Enterprise Coalition in London and is currently a board member of UCIT, Ethical Development Trust North, Business Led, Blythswood Care Ireland and NICVA. Audrey has significant experience in developing, managing and evaluating social enterprises, within her role in LEDCOM she has actively helped start up and develop over 400 social enterprises.
Audrey is general Manager for three of LEDCOM Charity group subsidiary companies Chain HR, Business Led and EDT alongside her role as Business Development Manager for LEDCOM itself.

Ken has over 23 years’ experience working as a business advisor, mentor and trainer with entrepreneurs, start-up companies, small businesses and social enterprises.
He has wide ranging experience in designing and delivering support initiatives for economic development, business incubation, social entrepreneurship and small business growth.
Ken was the Chairman of Enterprise Northern Ireland (ENI), the association of Northern Ireland’s enterprise centres from 2006 to 2011. In 2010 he was the sole Northern Ireland recipient of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion.
In April 2012, he was appointed to the board of Invest Northern Ireland by the Northern Ireland Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Investment. He was re-appointed to the board of Invest NI in April 2015.
Ken is a voluntary member of the board of directors of three social enterprises. He has a BA in Business Studies, MBA and MSc in Human Resource Management as well as being a Chartered Manager (CMgr) and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI).
Ken is a voluntary member of the governing bodies of the Northern Regional College, Ballymena Academy and Stranmillis University College.
